Terms and Conditions – Pi Education

Welcome to Pi Education, a subsidiary of Poppins Nursery School (NPO 156-626). By completing a registration via our Application Form or making any payment toward tuition or registration fees, you (“the Parent/Guardian” or “the Payer”) agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Registration

  • A non-refundable registration fee of R1,000 per child is required to secure your child’s place for the 2026 tuition period.
  • Registration is only confirmed once the fee is paid and all required documentation (including IDs, birth certificate, and completed forms) is submitted.
  • Incomplete applications will be considered void.
  • Registration constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, our Code of Conduct, and all school policies.

2. Tuition Fees & Payment Terms

  • Tuition fees are billed annually and paid monthly from February to December 2026.
  • January 2026 fees must be paid by 2 December 2025.
  • Monthly payments are due by the 1st of each month. Proof of payment must be emailed or sent via WhatsApp to the contact details on our Contact page.
  • Fees for 2026 are as follows:
    • Primary: R1,700/month per child
    • High School: R2,400/month per child
    • Sibling (Primary): R1,500/month per child
    • Sibling (High School): R2,200/month per child
  • A full annual payment qualifies for one month of free tuition (excluding January).

3. Late Payments & Debt Collection

  • Late payments incur a 10% administration fee.
  • Outstanding accounts may be handed over to a debt collection agency (“Accountability”), and all associated collection fees will be added to the account.
  • Pi Education reserves the right to withhold services or deny access to tuition if fees are in arrears.

4. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellation requires one (1) calendar month’s written notice.
  • No cancellations are permitted in November or December. Fees for these months remain payable in full.
  • Failure to provide proper notice means the Payer remains liable for all scheduled fees.

5. Disclaimers & Liability

  • Pi Education provides a safe and supportive learning environment but accepts no liability for:
    • Injuries, accidents, or health-related incidents
    • Lost, stolen, or damaged personal property
    • Academic outcomes, missed tests, or unsubmitted assignments
  • Parents indemnify Pi Education and its staff against all claims arising from a learner’s attendance or participation.
  • Learners are expected to remain on the premises during school hours (Mon–Thurs: 8:00–14:00; Fri: 8:00–12:00). Pi Education is not responsible for incidents occurring off-site.

6. School Rules & Requirements

  • Purchase of the official school diary is compulsory.
  • Parents must provide toiletries per term as communicated.
  • Strict adherence to device usage rules is required.
  • Additional learning materials may be provided, but learners must supply their own textbooks, stationery, and examination resources when needed.

7. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

8. Amendments

Pi Education reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revisions.
